Version 8 Downloads

for current Solo and Maxim customers

Before beginning your download you should review the Version 8 Notes.

If you have already upgraded to Version 8 and would like to update your Solo software with the newest release, please skip to Step 3 below.

The newest release (8.5) was made available on

Step 1 involves downloading the new Template Editor and new letters data.

This step should be completed before continuing to the next steps.

Step 2 includes the new documentation and documents necessary for the upgrade

Step 3 is the final step of the upgrade. It will download the new Solo application.

Special Instructions

Before beginning a download make sure that you know what version that you have currently installed. If you are on any version older than 7.0, you will need a new CD to install the upgrade. If you are not sure, please contact Affordable Solutions at

Network Installations

If you have your Solo data files installed on a network, make sure that you Relink your data files the first time that you start the new version of Solo. Click here for more detailed instructions.

If you have the Maxim add-on program in addition to Solo, contact us for additional instructions. It will be step #4.
